Unlike an impersonal Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which only offers an 800 number to an unfamiliar person during a crisis, our goal is to build caring relationships with employees and owners during our weekly visits. Over time these relationships grow into trusted friendships. With the foundation of friendship and confidentiality having been established, chaplains can easily step in to help when the need arises.

Each week the Chaplain will visit your workplace and attempt to speak to every employee offering encouragement and/or guidance. If an employee has something he/she wants to discuss with the Chaplain, it may be mentioned at that time. The Chaplain will coordinate a place and time to meet with the employee for additional assistance. This may be on break, at lunch, by phone or after work, NOT while on the clock.

Chaplains understand that crises are never convenient but when the crisis happens they are on-call to bring peace, hope and assurance. Each employee will receive a business contact card from the Chaplain that allows them access to call the chaplain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide assistance whenever needed.

CONFIDENTIALITY MATTERS

The cornerstone of our chaplaincy service is the employees confidence in our confidentiality. It is imperative that the employer and employee know and understand that ALL conversations with their chaplain are completely confidential.

This is a voluntary program designed to help improve the quality of life of your employees. We all need someone who truly cares.

Local, state and federal laws require full disclosure in case of child abuse or where personal safety is at risk.
